An experimental work of animation commemorating the hundredth anniversary of animated film in Japan, TOKYO LOOP (Japan) is a compilation of sixteen fragments by just as many directors, many of whom are experimental filmmakers or artists. The new century of animation is revealed with shifty seductiveness and to be fragmented and Tokyo-like. It all begins with the fun opener Tokyo Strut - an exploration of what happens when you connect dots in various ways as they move across the screen propelled by music.
Other Sequences: Tokyo Trip, Fishing Vine, Yuki-Chan, Dog & Bone, Public Convenience, Tokyo, Black Fish, Unbalance, Tokyo Girl, Manipulated Man, Nuance, Hashimoto, Funkorogashi, Fig, 12 O'Clock.
